SalViBio is a project that aims to enhance the viticultural biodiversity of the Colli Piacentini wine district in order to improve the competitiveness of wine production in the area, which today is strongly affected by climate change. Native, minor or local grape varieties are used as tools of innovation for the identification of new types of product, exploiting the different resilience of genotypes available to changing environmental conditions, as well as developing management protocols aimed at maximizing the added value of the winemaking process.
